Mindi O'Brien has been competing in amateur fitness/figure contests in Canada for several year when this video was filmed in 2004 and she won the overall Canadian title in 2004, thus becoming an IFBB Pro competitor at that time. This WPW Video was taped in December 2004 several months after the above contest, and she was still in top contest shape at 5'4" 135 pounds. She shows off one of the best and most muscular bodies in fitness/figure during that era. She leads off this tape doing repwork in the gym in her shorts and halter. She got pumped up quickly after doing alot of chin-ups and curls and was able to do bodyweight bench presses for 12 reps, quite an impressive lift for a fitness/figure woman who normally does not do heavy lifts. When she is finished with her reps in the gym she again does posing scenes in a bikini and two different mini-skirts and for sure shows off her very muscular calves and thighs when she was doing toe raises and leg curls when in the gym as well as when she was posing. Her side chest poses and rear bicep shots shows off a perfect bodybuilding style physique for a figure woman. This 30 year old woman who looks like she is in her early 20s, is very, very good looking with perfectly long hair. At the time we knew her, she was living in Toronto, Canada, so we did not have the ability to do many more photo/video sessions with her, but we did get lucky a bit later and we were able to do one more session with her shortly after this one which is on WPW Video 633. This WPW Video 623 was taped in December 2004, a couple days before XMas, and you read the following correctly, it was after a 10 year absence from competing and our last video with her. Meral Ertunc was a very top bodybuilder in the early 1990s but after a bout with a certain injury (which she explains in her interview) she had to retire from the competitions. When she recovered she came back on the scene as a Fitness contestant. But don't let that mislead you as she was 42 years of age here and still had a well developed body, particularly her upper body. So, at 5'2" 120 pounds here, she still showed good muscle size and hardness though not quite as chiseled as she was in the earlier videos we did with her. She leads off this video with posing in a bikini, then 3 mini- dresses and at age 42 she is very good looking and one could mistake her for being in her early 20s. Meral was one of the few Turkish-American women who competed and for all of our tapings lived in northern Virginia, though she had recently moved to Florida. This new footage runs about 80 minutes so to fill out the video we added our very first footage with her from 1991 which is on WPW Video 229, but there are other women on that video as well as on WPW 205 and 215, which Meral was also included in. In the older footage she again poses in her different outfits and is interviewed. This earliest footage was taken at the time of the 1991 Junior Nationals. Other WPW Videos after her earliest ones and before her last one here are on WPW 284 and 623 and she also is featured on Ray Martin Videos 22 and 78. We say the following often, but Meral was one of the most beautiful women to compete in both bodybuilding and figure, with a perfectly shaped muscular physique, period!!
