Had Diana Dennis lived in the northeast instead of California she may have taken the title away from Sharon Marvel as WPWs most often photographed woman bodybuilder. As it was, we had a ton of sessions with her from the very early 1980s right through the 1990s. We still see her at booths at some of the bigger contests, and for her, the big Five-0 is creeping up, we hope to do a birthday shoot with her to go over old times!! Speaking of old times, Steve Wennerstrom shot some stuff of her in 1982-83, but we first took our camera (and Super 8 film camera) to her in 1984, when these photos were taken. She had already been cleaning up in the contests in California, and it would be only a year later that she won the Nationals, then turning pro. We are in the process of locating copies of all our early Super 8 films and videos, and we are pretty sure we found Dianas, and hope to re-release her and others footage over the winter and/or stream on our site. As of now (mid-2001) the earliest video we have of Diana is WPW Video 116, from 1988.
